「医学的に完治」しても続く痛み? 身体に刻まれた「記憶」と癒し

Eyecatch

After an accident, even though you were medically declared "fully recovered," do you find it difficult to build muscle, or does the affected area frequently ache after surgery? Have you ever experienced something like this?

Situations that inflict physical damage upon the body, such as accidents or surgeries, are sometimes unavoidable. However, from the body's perspective, physical damage is nothing short of an "intervention."

The Body's "Cry": Fear of the Blade, Emotions Hidden Within Pain

Imagine this: If a stranger suddenly entered your home, anyone would feel fear. Similarly, for our bodies, undergoing a surgical incision can be an unbearably frightening experience. And often, such intense emotions remain embedded in the affected area.

For instance, when touching the site of an old surgical scar that frequently aches, emotions like fear and sadness can well up from within it. Some have even felt as if the affected area was continuously screaming, "What are you doing?!" Furthermore, individuals who find it difficult to build muscle throughout their body might be experiencing a full-body rigidity stemming from the intense fear they felt at that time.

Yet, because we are medically diagnosed as "fully recovered," we often fail to recognize that the body might be expressing emotions related to the accident or surgery. Even when physical damage to the body—such as accidents, injuries, or surgeries—is deemed healed by Western medicine, the body almost always retains the memories of that experience.

Pain is the body's "cry."

In such cases, by gently listening to the voice of that affected area, symptoms often remarkably begin to ease.

Unfolding Bodywork: Supporting "Dialogue with the Body" and Profound Healing

If you have experienced unavoidable physical damage, we encourage you to gently touch your body and engage in a deep dialogue with it. The subsequent healing process is likely to accelerate significantly.

"But how do I engage in dialogue with my body?" "It's quite difficult on my own..."

If you feel this way, please come for a session at Unfolding Bodywork.

We gently help you release the "memories" etched into your body and listen to the voice your body truly wishes to convey. Rather than forcefully attempting to "fix" something, we trust your body's innate self-healing and self-regulating abilities, supporting true recovery to emerge from within.

Unfolding Bodywork is highly effective for recovery after accidents or surgery. Why not heal the emotions and memories deeply held within your body and reclaim a state of lightness and freedom in both mind and body?
